Services
Baseline Diagnostics experienced staff specialize in providing three essential components for proper intraoperative monitoring - evoked potentials (SSEP/MEP), electroencephalography (EEG), and electromyography (EMG). With our reliable staff and state-of-the-art technology, you can trust us to provide you with the most reliable Neurophysiologic Monitoring.
Motor/Somatosensory
Evoked Potentials (SSEP/MEP)
Electromyography
(EMG)
Electroencephalography
(EEG)
MEPs demonstrate the integrity of the descending/anterior columns of the spinal cord, whereas SSEPs primarily monitor the integrity of the ascending/dorsal columns
Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies are tests that measure the electrical activity of muscles and nerves. Nerves send out electrical signals to make your muscles react in certain ways. As your muscles react, they give off these signals, which can then be measured.
The electroencephalogram (EEG) is a medical test used to measure the electrical activity of the brain. A number of electrodes are applied to the scalp. EEG can be helprul in the OR when used in conjunction with other modalities during surgery.
